ETICS polyurethane adhesive
Adhesive suitable for the installation of ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) panels, insulating panels, and laminated plasterboard. Its high-density formulation ensures instant initial bonding and high adhesion strength.
Fast curing and low expansion
PU/EP polyurethane adhesive is a high-performance mounting adhesive used in the installation of ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) panels.
It is suitable for application on surfaces such as wood, PVC, metal, concrete, OSB, cement, brick, and stone.
Due to its composition, this glue offers fast curing and low expansion unlike other polyurethane foams available on the market, which translates into savings on materials, waiting times, and other fixing systems such as screws and nails.

Benefits
Maximum quality
Product certified in accordance with ETAG 004 (EOTA TR046)
Ideal for ETICS
This PU/EP adhesive has been developed for the installation of exterior insulation panels, such as ETICS panels
Fast drying
Instant bonding with high adhesion and no screws
Low expansion
Despite being a polyurethane foam, the expansion of the material is controlled to facilitate precision in the installation of ETICS panels
High performance, low cost
One container of PU/EP polyurethane adhesive can cover up to 16m2
Reduced waiting time
It has an estimated mechanical curing time of between 1 and 2 hours
Suitable for all conditions
The performance of the polyurethane adhesive is not affected by temperature and humidity. Therefore, it is suitable for use in any climate
Outdoor use
Once cured, the bond formed by the PU/EP is resistant to rain and UV
Gun application
For precise dosage with no waste of product
On any material
It works on wood, cement, concrete, and less porous materials, such as PVC and plasterboard
Quick adjustment
It allows for the adjustment/levelling of panels or boards

Instructions
The exact dose of the polyurethane adhesive makes it possible to use less material. One container can be used to adhere between 12 m2 and 16 m2 of insulating panels. The actual amount required depends on the quantity applied to each panel and the flatness of the surfaces of application. After applying PU-EP to the panel, wait for between 1 and 5 minutes before joining the panel to the desired surface. Once the 2 surfaces are joined, the PU-EP expansion stops. The insulation panels can be levelled on the surface for a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes after having joined the surfaces. The polyurethane adhesive reaches its full mechanical strength after 2 hours. Any additional fixing of the insulation panels will depend on the quality of the surface to which they are being adhered. The work surface must be protected when adhering the insulation panels in rainy or windy conditions. In the case of strong wind, the edges of the surfaces being adhered must be protected.
Shake the container thoroughly (approximately 20 times) with the valve facing down before use
Place the container in the applicator gun. Press the trigger and let the foam flow through (approx. 2 seconds). This fills the extension tube with foam. The gun is now ready to be used
It is recommended to lightly dampen the surface with water prior to application. The surface on which the insulation panels will be placed must be hard, flat and clean, with no loose parts, dust or grease. The optimal temperature for using the container is between 20ºC and 25ºC. If the temperature is below this, place the container in hot water (max. temp: 40ºC) for around 20 minutes
Hold the gun with the container in a vertical position during application. PU-EP should be applied first to the edges and then to the rest of the surface of the plate in a W shape.
