Different anchors and accessories for installing plasterboards

At INDEX, we have a versatile range of solutions for installing plasterboard in a simple, safe and efficient way.

Our plasterboard fixings can be used for a wide range of applications in walls and ceilings. CE marked

The plasterboard screws are designed for joining plasterboard to metal profiles, to each other or to wood. Their S-point drills directly into metal up to 0.86 mm thick. In addition, they incorporate a self-tapping thread with a 60º cutting edge and a phosphated or zinc-plated coating (PL-CA) that facilitates the adhesion of the putty on the screw head. They are made of special steel with heat treatment to improve their properties.

Plasterboard tapes, on the other hand, are used to join gypsum boards to each other or to wall linings and, depending on the manufacturing material, they offer different performances:

  • Paper joint tape (CP-PA): it is characterised by being resistant and facilitates the expulsion of air during installation.
  • Tape for plasterboard (CP-GV): this tape for plasterboard also facilitates the expulsion of air during installation and, in addition, it incorporates two flexible metal strips with anti-corrosion treatment that allow a straight and continuous fold along the entire length of the tape.
  • Self-adhesive acoustic tape (CP-AC): adheres directly to the metal folds, which facilitates the installation work of plasterboard anchors. It is especially suitable for acoustic projects and is paper-free.
  • Glass mesh tape (CP-MV): this tape does not require a first layer of sealing paste application, unlike the others, and is ideal for improving joint strength and preventing cracks.
